Welcome to MotivUp (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use MotivUp, how we use it, and what your rights are.

2. Information We Collect

• Notification identifier (FCM Token): An identifier generated by Firebase Cloud Messaging so we can send push notifications to your device.
• Your preferences: The categories you select and your daily notification frequency.
• Device information: Your device's language and timezone (so we can deliver notifications at the right time and in the right language).

We do not collect information that would directly identify you, such as your name, email address, phone number, or location. The App does not require account creation; it operates entirely through a device-specific identifier.

3. How We Use Information

• Send motivational notifications in categories and at frequencies you choose
• Personalize notifications based on your device's language and timezone
• Provide the App's core functionality

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your data. We use the following service providers:

• Firebase Cloud Messaging (Google LLC): For push notification delivery. Privacy policy
• Supabase Inc.: To store your preferences and FCM token. Privacy policy

These providers may access your data only to provide their services.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

Since there is no account system, we retain your data for as long as you keep the App installed and active on your device. You can delete all your data at any time from Profile → Delete My Data in the App. When you uninstall the App, your FCM token becomes inactive and no notifications can be sent.

6. Your Rights

• Access and delete: You can access and delete your data from within the App.

7. Children's Privacy

MotivUp is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

8. Security

We store your data on secure servers and use encrypted connections. However, no internet transmission is 100% secure.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be published by updating this page; to see the latest revision, check the "Last updated" date at the top of the page. If we add analytics or crash reporting tools in the future, we will update this policy in advance.
